The philosophy of yoga is about a union of mind, body and breath.
The practice of yoga is based on the principles of the work of Patanjali, an ancient Indian sage who brought his yogic teachings to the people some 5,000 years ago. Hatha yoga is one element of the physical asanas which make up the practice of yoga.
Hatha means Ha - Sun and Tha - Moon, and seeks to balance these two elements within ourselves.
